In the process of an IBC Tank production line, from raw material melting to molding, the parison extrusion, blow molding, and cooling & setting links play a crucial role in determining product precision. Details are as follows:

Parison Extrusion Link: In this link, factors such as the screw speed of the extruder and temperature control are of great importance. If the screw speed is unstable, the extruded parison will have uneven thickness, which affects the subsequent molding precision. Improper temperature control will also cause problems: if the temperature is too high, the melt fluidity will be too strong, leading to sagging and deformation of the parison; if the temperature is too low, the melt plasticization will be poor, resulting in a rough parison surface and possible uneven wall thickness. At the same time, the gap of the mold opening for forming the tubular parison must also be adjusted evenly; otherwise, it will directly lead to large errors in the parison wall thickness and ultimately affect the overall precision of the IBC Tank.

2.Blow Molding Link: During the blow molding process, the blow air pressure and volume flow rate have a significant impact on product precision. Insufficient pressure will prevent the parison from fully adhering to the mold cavity, resulting in unclear product contour and non-conforming dimensions; excessive pressure may make the product wall too thin or even cracked. Improper air volume flow rate will also cause problems: for example, if the flow rate is too high, local vacuum will be generated at the air inlet, causing the parison to sag and affecting the product appearance and precision; if the flow rate is too low, the blow molding time will be prolonged, and it will be difficult to ensure the uniformity of the product wall thickness. In addition, the structure of the blow mold is also critical. Unreasonable design of the mold clamping port, scrap groove, exhaust hole, etc., will lead to poor product seam quality and internal air entrapment, affecting product precision and quality.

3.Cooling & Setting Link: Improper control during the cooling process will cause the product to shrink and deform, affecting precision. Excessively fast cooling speed will generate large internal stress inside the product, leading to unstable dimensions and even cracks; excessively slow cooling speed will reduce production efficiency, and the product is prone to deformation due to its own weight and other factors during the cooling process. At the same time, the temperature and uniformity of the cooling medium are also important. Generally, the temperature of the circulating water for cooling the molding mold needs to be controlled at about 10°C to ensure that the mold working temperature is within the range of 20-50°C. If the mold temperature is uneven, the product will shrink inconsistently in various parts, resulting in dimensional deviations and shape deformation.
